Built in 1874 as a family home, Strathblane Country House sits proudly in its own ten acres of land, shared only by wild deer and other woodland animals.

The Campsie Fells, Dumgoyne and Ben Lomond provide the breathtaking backdrop and the house’s interior offers what one might term “comfortable grandeur” – everyone makes themselves at home in this big old house.



Owners, husband and wife team Allan and Margaret Duncan are relentless in their task to make each Strathblane Country House experience a special one whether it be a wedding, a meal in one of the restaurants or just a drink at the bar in front of the open fire.
