Plane Castle, the baronial house of the Sommervilles, Lords of Plane from 1428 to 1643, is located 6 miles south of Stirling, on the edge of the Bannockburn battlefield. Both Plane Tower 1430,a nd the Manor House 1528, have recently been sympathetically restored while introducing the facilities and comforts of modern living.

Plane Tower is offered for self-catering accommodation sleeping 4 to 8 people. The adjacent Manor House with 4 double bedrooms is available for self catering either separately or together with the Tower, and the two are connected by a walkway.

Main season June 13th to 19th Sept & 22nd Dec. to 5th Jan.

Mid season 21st March to 13th June, & 19th Sept to 24th Oct

Low season 4th January to 21st March, & 24th Oct to 22nd Dec
